Contractors can now select the ideal working time for rebar and deep anchoring applications, taking into account the specific application and temperature conditions. This flexibility allows for optimal performance in various settings.

The HIT-Z anchor rod is suitable for use in both cracked and uncracked concrete, providing versatility for a range of projects. It is compatible with all anchor rods and rebar, making it a convenient choice for contractors.

Applications for the HIT-Z anchor rod include anchoring structural steel connections, secondary steel structures, seismic strengthening, retrofitting, bracing reinforced concrete buildings, and straight connections with post-installed rebars. It can also be used for the substitution of misplaced and missing rebars.

Each can/cartridge contains 11.1 fluid oz (330 ml) of material, and the anchor rod is suitable for use in both dry and wet conditions. Cleaning procedures include auto cleaning with the Hilti Hollow Drill Bit, compressed-air cleaning, or, in some cases, no cleaning is required when using the HIT-Z rod.

The anchor rod is compatible with HAS threaded rods, HIS-N internally threaded inserts, HIT-Z torque controlled bonded anchors, and rebar. It is designed to withstand seismic loading, providing added security in high-risk areas.

The HIT-Z anchor rod is designed to be stored and transported within a temperature range of 41°F - 77°F, and it is suitable for use within a range of -40 - 248 °F. It complies with IBC 2006, IBC 2009, and IBC 2012 regulations, providing assurance of its quality and reliability.
